Chief Local Gmail connects one user's Gmail account to the Chief assistant running locally with Open WebUI on that user's Windows PC. It is a personal integration, not a hosted email service, and has no public sign-up.
WHAT IT CAN DO
Mailbox actions at your direction
- Search Gmail and read selected messages.
- Mark messages as spam, move them to Trash, restore them, or change labels.
- Send or forward messages when you instruct Chief to do so.
- Permanently delete a selected message when you explicitly request it.
Google handles Gmail
Google's Gmail API performs the requested mailbox operations. Messages are sent to recipients only when the user directs Chief to send or forward them.
