Chief Local Gmail is a personal integration that connects one user's Gmail account to the Chief assistant running on that user's own Windows computer. It is not a public hosted service and is not offered for other users to sign up.
Your Google account and instructions
You choose whether to connect your Google account and grant Gmail access. You are responsible for reviewing Chief's proposed recipients, message content, and mailbox changes. Chief's Gmail tools are intended to act on your instructions. Sending, forwarding, changing mailbox labels, moving mail, and permanent deletion can affect your account; permanent deletion cannot be undone.
Local setup and third-party services
The integration runs locally and uses Google's Gmail API. Your use of Gmail remains subject to Google's terms and policies. The privacy policy describes local storage, chat history, and the information sent to Google when you use Gmail features.
Availability and responsibility
This personal tool is provided as-is, without a promise of uninterrupted availability or error-free results. You remain responsible for checking important messages and confirming that an action reflects your intent. You can disconnect the integration at any time through your Google Account and remove its local authorization.
